A Celebration of Culture, Beauty & Homecoming
On 9 August 2025, Face of Madi Foundation proudly hosted its official launch together with the homecoming celebration of the Queens of Miss Tourism West Nile 2025/2026, who were crowned during the Miss Tourism West Nile event held in Adjumani.
The memorable celebration was graced by Hon. Joyce Moriku Kaduchu, Minister of State for Primary Education, as Guest of Honour, alongside Deputy RDC Mr. Julian, the Principals of St. Thomas Aquinas College – Erepi, William Amanjuru, Patron of Miss Tourism West Nile and Team Leader, Friends of Zoka, and many other distinguished guests.
The event was further elevated by an electrifying live-band performance from The Black People’s Band, creating an unforgettable evening of music, culture and celebration.
It was more than a homecoming—it was a celebration of beauty, culture, talent, leadership and youth empowerment, marking a significant milestone for Face of Madi Foundation.

The Face of Madi contestants paid a courtesy visit to Madam Josephine Ippe for a special breakfast and mentorship session, sharing meaningful conversations, inspiration and a memorable photo moment as they continue their journey of growth and empowerment.



A Memorable Moment on the Journey
The Face of Madi contestants shared a memorable photo moment with Clink the Drunk, a Nigerian comedian, during their journey from Moyo to Adjumani for the grand finals of the pageant. A fun encounter and a special memory along the way.






Return of the Rhinos to Ajai
Face of Madi Queen Chandiru Khadija Juma joined fellow queens and tourism stakeholders, including Miss Tourism West Nile Queen Jovian, Mr. Little Face of Madi, Queen Lenia and Kadabara Boniface of West Nile Birding & Safaris, for the Return of the Rhinos to Ajai Road Trip on 12 January 2026.
A historic moment celebrating conservation, tourism and the return of a treasured symbol of West Nile’s natural heritage. Be part of the story—“I was there when the rhinos returned.”




Cultural Heritage & Conservation Visit
On 4 January 2026, the Miss Face of Ma’di finalists paid a courtesy visit to Lopirigo Suru Simon Baru XI, Head of the Ma’di Cultural Institution, at the royal palace in Kureku, Adjumani. The visit focused on cultural preservation, heritage promotion and environmental conservation, with the finalists taking a memorable photo moment with the cultural leader.



Promoting Tourism Through Sport
Face of Ma’di Queen Chandiru Khadija Juma attended the official launch of Race the Nile–Uganda Ultra 2026 in Arua City alongside Queen Jovian- Miss Tourism west Nile 2025/26, Amen Elizabeth, Queen Lenia and 2nd Runner-up miss tourism west Nile Queen Gloria Awesi.
A memorable gathering celebrating tourism, culture and the beauty of West Nile.






Empowering Through Skills & Enterprise
Queen Ovizio Blessing Phiona was among the beneficiaries of the BEST Training by Enterprise Uganda, as part of the Face of Madi Foundation’s capacity-building and enterprise development initiative.
The training equipped her with practical business skills to support personal growth, entrepreneurship, and community impact.
